UVic's vibrant new music ensemble takes the stage for an exhilarating showcase of compositions by revolutionary centenarians Iannis Xenakis and György Ligeti. Their masterworks, juxtaposed with influential pieces by their contemporaries such as Conlon Nancarrow, meet fresh and innovative works by both emerging and established composers. Led by Ajtony Csaba, join us for a journey tracing the re-formation of musical ideas through the lens of these compositions.
